Office and Field Jobs
Drywaller
Handyman
A handyman must be able to tackle a wide range of repairs or installations on a project from start to finish. Must be knowledgeable in basic plumbing, minor electrical, drywall installation, painting, all types of flooring installations, millwork, carpentry, and standard home appliance installation and repairs. Will know how to follow instructions and guidance, have dexterity, excellent customer service and will know how to discern any issues that may arise.
A drywaller must be able to hang, tape and finish.
For this position, you will be required to know how to install new or repair drywall. Must be able to seal joints, repair cracks, and smooth imperfections on walls and ceilings to create surfaces that are suitable for final treatment. Drywaller must be able to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining a high quality of work. Must know of all levels of finish. Ability to use stilts, Operate equipment such as sanding, drywall compound/texture equipment, scaffolding, motorized lifts, and reading blueprints is a perk..
Painters
A painter must be proficient with mixing colors and application of paint, sealants and solvents on various surfaces by discerning climate conditions and aesthetics. Must be knowledgeable with brush and roller techniques. Have the dexterity to perform the job at various heights as the job requires. Ability to use stilts, Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, motorized lifts, and reading blueprints is a perk.
Framers
The Framing carpenter must be able to use plumb bobs and levels to ensure that structures are exactly vertical or horizontal, construct window and door frames as well as staircases, sub-flooring, and installing temporary supports for structures as required. Must be knowledgeable with building codes, and have ability to read and interpret blueprints, should know how to identify any material defects. Ability to hang drywall is a perk.
Flooring Installers
The flooring installer must be experienced in, but not limited to: All types of Tile, carpet, hardwood, Engineered, vinyl, among others. The flooring installer must be able to sand and stain wood flooring. Have the ability to know how to recommend the proper material to reduce cost without losing quality. Must work efficiently to reduce turnaround time of completion without losing quality. Must be able to demo existing flooring without causing damage to sub-floor or surrounding areas. Ability to install sub-floor and floor molding is a perk.
Jobsite Helper
The jobsite helper/ laborer will assist the team in anything that may be required and within their abilities. The Helper/Laborer will be assigned to a lead tradesman to shadow and learn new skills during their time with the company. A positive attitude is a must. The helper must be able to anticipate the tradesman's next move to facilitate material, tools or a helping hand. Basic construction knowledge is a perk but your willingness to learn is a must
Construction Cleaner
The construction cleaner would be responsible for daily General clean-ups in jobsites ensuring that all the work area is within safety guidelines. The Cleaner will be responsible to perform Final cleaning. Knowledge with construction cleaning, Hotel cleaning, OSHA safety, is a must. The cleaner will be given the appropriate tools to perform his/her job. Must be thorough and attentive to detail all within a punctual turnaround time. Must be able to stand for long hours, climb flight of stairs, ability to carry up to 40lbs without assistance, and be knowledgeable with cleaning supplies, tools, and procedures.
Office Assistant
The Office Assistant will be required to put on many hats in order to excel in this position. As the office assistant you will be working with the Office manager to complete clerical, administrative, and general office tasks that support the entire construction management team. Answer social media and website chats, schedule new site visits, Collections of unpaid bills, and data entry. Construction literacy is a must. To be attentive to detail, and have the ability to manage high volume of work will be needed. Knowledge in Microsoft office is a must. Fluency in Spanish and English is a must. The office assistant position is remote but may be required to visit sites when needed. A minimum of 5yrs prior customer service experience, 2yrs in the Construction Industry and will be required.
